Trinks is a family owned business started by Kathleen “Trink” Woodward as a dessert and coffee shop in 2003. It has grown to play an essential role in the coastal town of Gualala, offering full breakfast and lunch menus daily, gourmet dinners three nights a week, and custom catering.

The friendly, informal atmosphere at Trinks is treasured by locals and visitors alike. It is where you go to meet friends, sip an espresso or cappuccino, pick up a snack for your backpack, have breakfast, lunch, or dinner—or simply treat yourself to one of Trinks’ legendary desserts and the breathtaking ocean view.

 In recent years gourmet flair and expertise have been turned on high by Trink’s son Ross and daughter-in-law Dionely, both graduates of the California Culinary Academy. Their dinner designs and catering options follow the seasons with the finest local ingredients and organic products whenever possible. Trink’s niece Suzanne manages the front of the house, balancing the action at the coffee bar, baked goods displays, gelato counter, and seating areas.

Trinks’ pantry is filled by north coast farms, ranches, specialty suppliers, and the Pacific itself.  But when Trink says we use fresh ingredients, that means everything from locally foraged mushrooms to the seasonal produce tended in Trink’s own garden and orchard.

Every day we pour exceptional Flying Goat Coffee from nearby Healdsburg. And we serve authentic gelato made the classic Italian way by Gelati Pazzo Marco, naturally with local organic milk from the Stornetta Ranch.
